It was water damaged and I have attempted crudely to repair it electronically. The MN Historical Society people believe that the drawing was done in the post Civil War era, mainly due to the medium, their clothing, and the type of frame it was in. Moses died in 1902 in Ardmore, OK. He was a Confederate soldier in the war and was buried in the Confederate section of the Cemetery in Ardmore. Lavinia eventually returned to MS and died there in 1918.
