MIKE’S FAMILIES

BOUCHER

Bouchers came from southern U.S., living in Alabama, and Mississippi during the 1700s to present. Many moved on to Texas and Oklahoma Indian Territory about 1900. Mike has a family only genealogy website.  See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Boucher/Hudgins and related families. See Moses D. Boucher’s Civil War records. Newer are the Boucher Choctaw Dawes Applications and the MS Bouchers in CSA.

BELL & MINTON

The Bells and Mintons were another southern family, living in N. Mississippi and Alabama during the 1800s. Some moved to Texas and Oklahoma Indian Territory in the late 1800s. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for my Bell family (including Lane and Galvin, Jones and James as well). See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Bell/Lane and related families.

LANE & GALVIN

Lanes were from County Kerry, Ireland and immigrated in the mid 1800s to U.S., settling in Oklahoma Indian Territory, Texas and in Missouri along with the Galvins. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for my Lane family (including Bell and Galvin, Jones and James as well). See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the the Bell/Lane and related families.

JONES & JAMES

The Jones and James families represent the Choctaw Indian side of my heritage. They originally lived in northern Mississippi, but were removed to Oklahoma Indian Territory in the 1830’s, probably on the “Trail of Tears”, eventually being given land in SE Oklahoma after statehood. See both Alice Folsom’s WPA interview and the Relief Act for Impson Jones. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for my Jones family (including Bell, Lane, Galvin, and James as well). See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Bell/Lane and related families. Choctaw Roll census cards as well as application packets and land allotments for some of my relatives are presented also.

HUDGINS

The Hudgins family came from Alabama, moving to Missouri in the 1850s, then Texas. Some moved on to Oklahoma Indian Territory before the Civil War. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for my Hudgins family (including Wright and Leonard as well). See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Boucher/Hudgins and related families.

WRIGHT & LEONARD

The Wright and Leonard families came to Oklahoma Indian Territory from Missouri. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for my Wright family (including Hudgins and Leonard as well). See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Boucher/Hudgins and related families.

VICKI’S FAMILIES

PARKS

The Parks families settled in VT, later moving to Terra Haute, IN. Some then moved to Grand Rapids, MI. See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Parks/Bonczkowski and related families. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for the Parks/Bonczkowski family.

BONCZKOWSKI

The Bonczkowski (later some changed it to Bush) family migrated from Posen Prussia (now Poland) in the late 1800s and moved to Michigan. Some were in the furniture industry in Grand Rapids, MI. See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Parks/Bonczkowski and related families. I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for the Parks/Bonczkowski family.

BRANCH

The Branch Family has been in Michigan for many years, with their main roots in White Cloud, MI. A complete published genealogy has already been done in 1914 with an update in 1969 and another in 1989, but I have started a file for them. See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Branch/Reynolds and related families.

REYNOLDS & GOFF

Two Indiana/Michigan families.  See the PHOTO PROJECT PAGE for a thumbnail album and full size images of the Branch/Reynolds and related families.  I have also set up a users only family genealogy web site for the Reynolds and Goff  family.

Family only genealogy site

I have set up a new type of family only genealogy web page on this server. It will be a worksite for adding family information and correcting it as well. I have added five family gedcoms to the site as working projects; Boucher, Hudgins and Bell, which includes all related families plus Parks/Bonczkowski & Steve Reynolds’ Reynolds/Goff families for Vicki’s side. To view the actual info you will need to request to become a user first, then be authenticated. After that I can give you access. Authenticated users that are related will be allowed to edit their families. This is not a commercial site. Only relatives may view or edit the data. At any rate try it out and see if you think it will be useful and a better way to access our family history. Please let me know your opinions.
